OurCalling relies on a large network of volunteers to execute its programs and events. Managing schedules, roles, and communication through their previous system was cumbersome and time-intensive, leading to inefficiencies in coordination.

The organization hosts multiple events, from daily outreach initiatives to large-scale community gatherings. The old website lacked a unified system to manage event registrations, schedules, and participant tracking, limiting the scalability of their efforts.

The previous site’s navigation and design did not adequately reflect the organization’s mission or provide an intuitive user experience. OurCalling needed a platform that was fully accessible and visually engaging to foster deeper connections with supporters and the homeless community.

OurCalling wanted to provide their community with easy access to resources like outreach guides, donation information, and contact options. The previous system’s disjointed content structure made it challenging for users to find relevant information quickly.

The website needed to grow alongside the organization while maintaining the security of sensitive data, including volunteer and event participant information.

Dreamers of Day rebuilt OurCalling.org from the ground up, focusing on enhancing its information architecture, design, content, and functionality. The new platform places the mission front and center, inspiring visitors to explore ways they can actively contribute.

Collaborating with OurCalling’s founder, we crafted the What We Do page to showcase the organization’s vision through a blend of refreshed and existing content. This page tells the story of a movement, delivering a cohesive and emotional message that informs and inspires action.

An integrated event management solution highlights upcoming events on the homepage and generates a dynamic calendar showcasing the diverse programs OurCalling offers, from bible studies to search and rescue operations. Event pages are highly customizable through modular components, including maps, image sliders, volunteer sign-up forms, and downloadable resources, making event updates intuitive for the team.

To streamline access to critical resources, we developed “The Hub,” a centralized repository housing frequently published content. This resource center enhances navigation and ensures that users can quickly find the information they need.

The platform was designed with full responsiveness across devices, featuring conditional loading of high-definition images and videos to ensure fast and efficient performance for all users. This mobile-friendly approach ensures the platform is accessible, no matter the device.

The new OurCalling.org website has transformed the organization’s digital presence, making it a powerful tool for engaging supporters, mobilizing volunteers, and connecting individuals with vital resources. The revamped site reflects OurCalling’s mission and values, presenting an intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling platform that drives action.
