About this Role
Dreamers of Day is seeking a driven Business Development Director to lead our growth strategy, build relationships with key clients, and drive new business opportunities. This role is pivotal in expanding our agency’s reach, increasing revenue, and ensuring we continue to deliver high-impact digital solutions for our clients.
As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business, nurturing relationships with existing and potential partners, and working closely with our leadership team to align sales strategies with our company vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive agency growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, agency partnerships, and strategic alliances
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term engagement
- Collaborate with leadership to refine Dreamers of Day’s service offerings and positioning in the market
- Lead client proposal development, including RFP responses, pitch presentations, and sales collateral
- Work closely with project managers, marketing, and creative teams to align business development efforts with agency capabilities
- Oversee sales pipeline, track key performance metrics, and forecast revenue growth
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape
- Represent Dreamers of Day at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Drive internal process improvements for lead generation, sales, and client retention
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of proven success in business development, sales, or account management in a digital agency or related industry
- Strong understanding of enterprise WordPress development, digital strategy, and web solutions
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships that drive revenue
- Experience leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop compelling proposals and pitch materials
- Experience working with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive
- Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and technical teams
- Passion for design, technology, and innovation in the digital space
